A structural steel C-channel, also known simply as a C-channel or C-beam, is a steel profile shaped like the letter "C" when viewed in cross-section.

It is a commonly used component and is widely used in the construction and manufacturing industries. The C-type channel has a special shape with a flat top, bottom (flange), and vertical edges (mesh).

The structure has good bending and compressive load resistance properties for the c-channel. In many situations, it is used as structural components of buildings, supports for large machinery, or other situations where strength and rigidity are required.
