Dec 01, 2025 Leave a message

Gnee produces round submerged arc welded (SAW) steel tubing that meets ASTM A252 Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 specifications.
The correct grade depends on the required strength level and intended application.

ASTM A252

Gnee manufactures A252 tubing in 12.375-inch, 14.00-inch, and 16.00-inch OD, with wall thicknesses from 0.109" up to 0.220".
Our ASTM A252 pipe piles and tubing are widely used in agricultural, industrial, and construction-related applications.

Weld Seam Information

Gnee produces 12.375", 14.00", and 16.00" round OD sizes to meet ASTM A252 requirements.
Our submerged arc welding (SAW) process may produce up to 1/4-inch OD weld reinforcement on the exterior surface of the tube.

According to ASTM A252, the outside diameter tolerance of tubing is ±1%.

At the time of quotation and order placement, please specify the end use of the tubing and whether an SAW weld seam is acceptable for your application.

All other mechanical tubing sizes produced by Gnee-up to 12.75-inch round and 6.00-inch square or rectangular-are manufactured using electric resistance welding (ERW).
