Material characteristics of S275JR h type steel beam
Chemical composition: mainly contains carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and other elements, and the specific content standards must meet the requirements of EN10025 standard.


Mechanical properties: It belongs to non-alloy structural steel, with yield strength not less than 275MPa, tensile strength between 410-580MPa, and elongation ≥19%. The impact energy at 20℃ is not less than 27J, with good strength and toughness, which can meet the requirements of general engineering structures.


Processing performance: It has good weldability and processability, and can easily perform cutting, bending, welding and other processing operations. It is suitable for various conventional processing technologies and is easy to use in construction and machinery manufacturing.

 

S355JR material h beam features
Chemical composition: As a low-alloy high-strength structural steel, in addition to the basic elements such as carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, etc., it also contains a small amount of alloying elements such as niobium, vanadium, titanium, etc. The addition of these elements improves the strength and toughness of the steel.


Mechanical properties: The yield strength is 355MPa, the tensile strength is between 470-630MPa, and the impact energy is not less than 27J at 20℃. Its strength is significantly higher than that of S275JR, and it has good toughness, cold working performance and welding performance.
Processing performance: It can adapt to a variety of welding processes, such as arc welding, gas shielded welding, etc., and performs well in both cold and hot working, and can meet the processing requirements of complex shape components.

 

Physical properties
Both materials of HEB180 steel have good bending resistance due to the H-section. The flange is wide and thick, the web is thin and long, and the connection between the flange and the web adopts a rounded transition, which can improve the overall stability and stress dispersion ability of the steel and enhance the overall bearing capacity.
