S355J0 S355JR HEA180 H beam profile

HEA180 steel is a hot-rolled H-shaped steel that meets European standards and is widely used in building structures and other applications that require high strength and good welding performance.

S355J0 h shaped iron beam material characteristics
Definition: Structural steel produced according to EN 10025-2 standard, where "J0" indicates impact toughness with a minimum impact energy of 27J at -20°C.
Yield strength (ReH): Minimum value is 355 MPa
Tensile strength (Rm): 470-630 MPa
Elongation after fracture (A): Depending on the thickness of the specimen, but usually not less than 20%
Impact energy (KV2): At least 27J for longitudinal specimens at -20°C
Applicable scenarios: Suitable for applications requiring good low-temperature toughness, such as construction projects in cold areas.

S355JR h shaped beam material properties

Definition: Structural steel produced according to EN 10025-2 standard, "JR" indicates impact toughness with a minimum impact energy of 27J at +20°C.
Yield strength (ReH): minimum 355 MPa
Tensile strength (Rm): 470-630 MPa
Elongation after fracture (A): varies according to the thickness of the specimen, usually not less than 20%
Impact energy (KV2): at least 27J for longitudinal specimens at +20°C
Applicable scenarios: suitable for general structural engineering applications, especially when the requirements for low-temperature impact toughness are not particularly high.

Application of HEA180 h section steel beam
Whether S355J0 or S355JR is used, HEA180 steel has high strength and good weldability.
Construction industry: used for frame structures, bridge construction, etc.
Industrial facilities: suitable for heavy equipment support structures in manufacturing plants.
Infrastructure: including but not limited to the construction of public facilities such as railway tracks, highways and bridges.
