Test of ASTM A252
Pandapipe's professional laboratory can conduct comprehensive inspection of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products in the production process, and carry out reliability testing and fatigue life analysis of steel pipe products to ensure product quality meets relevant standards and customer requirements.
Pandapipe have various international certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001,The products provided support three-party testing.
Mechanical properties test: Tensile, bending, compression and other mechanical properties of the steel pipe are tested to evaluate its strength, toughness, hardness and other key indicators. These tests help determine how steel tubes behave under different stress conditions.
Hydraulic test: By applying a certain water pressure to the inside of the steel pipe, check whether there are problems such as leakage or deformation. Hydraulic test is an important means to evaluate the tightness and pressure resistance of steel pipe.
Ultrasonic test: The use of ultrasonic technology for non-destructive testing of steel pipes to find possible internal defects, such as cracks, inclusions, etc. This method enables a comprehensive assessment of the quality of the steel pipe without damaging it.
X-ray inspection: X-ray or gamma-ray inspection of the steel pipe to further find possible internal defects. The X-ray inspection has high sensitivity and accuracy, and is one of the important means to ensure the quality of steel pipe.
Application of ASTM A252
Pile foundation: ASTM A252 steel pipe is a common material used to construct buildings, Bridges, piers and other infrastructure, and plays a key supporting role.
Civil engineering: Embankment protection engineering, drainage system construction, foundation reinforcement work.
Oil and gas transportation: In the face of special geological conditions, ASTM A252 steel pipe is the preferred material for transportation pipeline construction.
FAQ
1.Does ASTM A252 require anti-corrosion treatment?
Because ASTM A252 pipes are long-buried pipe piles underground, they are subject to corrosion from soil and groundwater. They are usually treated with anti-corrosion treatments, such as applying pipe coatings such as epoxy coal tar and epoxy resin paint, or adding sacrificial anodes or impressed current to protect the steel pipe piles.
2. What is the ASTM A252 equivalent to?
There are no completely equivalent standards, only similar standards in different countries with different standards. The Chinese standard similar to ASTM A252 is GB/T 1591, and the international standard is EN 10210.
