Q235 Carbon Structural Steel
Q235 ordinary carbon structural steel, also known as A3 steel, is a mineral ordinary carbon structural steel.
Performance: Yield strength between 370MPa and 500MPa; Yield strength (thickness or diameter ≤ 16mm): 235
Application: 1. Widely used in construction and engineering structures. Used for making steel bars or constructing factory buildings, high-voltage transmission towers, bridges, vehicles, boilers, containers, ships, etc., it is also widely used as mechanical parts with low performance requirements. 2. Can be used for various mold handles and other unimportant mold parts.

The deoxygenation method of Q235 can be represented by F, b, and z as boiling steel, semi killed steel, and killed steel, respectively. There are three deoxygenation methods for grade A and grade B steel, namely F, b, and Z. Grade C steel only has killed steel, while grade D steel only has special killed steel. Boiling steel is a partially deoxidized steel with poor plasticity and toughness. Welded structures made of this material are prone to cracking in joints under dynamic loads. It is not suitable to work at low temperatures, as hardening may occur at times. In contrast, killed steel has excellent and uniform quality, good plasticity and toughness.
