HEA HEB400 EN S355J2/S275J2 H-type Steel
The section height of HEA400 and HEB400 is usually 400mm, but their flange width, web thickness and flange thickness are different. HEB steel usually has wider flanges and thicker webs.
HEA400 and HEB400 of S355J2 h type beam material are usually used for more important structural components such as bridges, high-rise buildings, heavy machinery, etc. due to their higher strength; HEA400 and HEB400 of S275J2 material are suitable for buildings and structures where the load requirements are not particularly high.
The "J2" in S355J2 h type steel beam and S275J2 material h beam indicates that the material has good low temperature impact toughness and is suitable for structures used in low temperature environments. The low temperature impact toughness of S355J2 h profile steel is usually better than that of S275J2 steel beam h.
