Chemical composition: carbon (C) content ≤0.26%, manganese (Mn) content ≤1.65%, silicon (Si) content ≤0.40%, phosphorus (P) content ≤0.04%, sulfur (S) content ≤0.05%.
Mechanical properties: yield strength ≥250MPa (36ksi), tensile strength 400 - 550MPa, elongation ≥20%. Its strength is relatively low, but it has good plasticity, toughness and welding performance, which can meet the general building structure and non-load-bearing requirements.
Economical: The cost is relatively low. In some projects that do not require particularly high steel performance, the use of H-shaped steel made of A36 can reduce project costs.
Application areas of W30×132 steel beam h
High-rise buildings: Due to its high strength, A992 is more suitable for super-high-rise buildings or parts with high structural bearing capacity requirements; A36 can be used for parts of some medium and high-rise buildings with strict cost control.
Industrial plants: H-shaped steel made of A992 can withstand the load of heavy cranes, while A36 can be used for plant structures with general loads.
Large bridges: It can be used as the main beam structure of the bridge, especially H-shaped steel made of A992, whose high strength and good toughness can withstand the dynamic load and alternating stress of the bridge during use. It is more common in some cross-sea bridges, large urban overpasses and other projects.
Small and medium-sized bridges: A36 material W30×132 H-shaped steel can also be used for some small and medium-span bridge structures, which can meet the load-bearing requirements of the bridge and have good economy.
