It is a low-alloy high-strength steel with nominal 2.25% chromium and 1.0% molybdenum as core alloying elements, supplemented by controlled amounts of carbon, manganese, silicon, and other basic elements. Characterized by excellent high-temperature creep resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance to reducing media like hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide, it is typically subjected to normalizing + tempering heat treatment to achieve superior mechanical properties. This grade is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, coal chemical, and power generation, mainly for manufacturing pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, and other key components.
