16Mo3 Chrome Moly Steel
16Mo3 Products Description
16Mo3 steel plate is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, power station, boiler and other industries. It is used to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure vessels, boiler drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, hydropower station high-pressure water pipes, water turbine volutes and other equipment and components. Advanced equipment has also been introduced, such as: flame cutting machines, welding machines, hydraulic presses, etc., which can cut and weld various cutting parts, structural frames, boiler covers, heads, etc.
16MO3 is read as sixteen molybdenum three steel plate, which is named according to the content of C (carbon) and Mo (molybdenum), which means that the carbon content of this steel plate is about 160, and the molybdenum content is about three hundred. 16Mo3 belongs to the European standard steel plate, produced by Wuyang Steel Plant.
16MO3 is a pressure vessel steel plate. EN10028-2 specifies the grade of chromium-molybdenum steel alloy used for materials at elevated working temperatures. It is used as a weldable steel in the manufacture of industrial boilers and stainless steel pressure vessels in the oil, gas and chemical industries.
16MO3 steel plate is a foreign brand steel plate. Unlike other raw materials, 16MO3 steel plate needs to be preheated first, and the weld should be kept warm for about 30 minutes after welding. 16MO3 manganese steel plate is also an important alloying element of steel. It is an important hardenability element, which has a great influence on the toughness of the weld metal.
