DIN 30CrNiMo8 Forged Alloy Steel Round Bar
In the German DIN standard, 30CrNiMo8 is quenched and tempered steel, and the material code is 1.6580, which is equivalent to my country's 30Cr2Ni2Mo. Generally used for parts with larger loads.
The material 30CrNiMo8 is difficult to process. It is very difficult for 30CrNiMo8 to reach HRB80 or below. Generally, it is enough to reach HRB85 (about HB160-240).
It is widely used. In addition to being used in high-pressure chemical containers with high pressure and frequent fluctuations, it is also used in pressure pipes, plastic molds, important structures, etc. For example, the main shafts of Dongfang Turbine Factory's FD70A and FD77A wind turbine generator sets are made of high-quality alloy steel (30CrNiMo8) forgings.
