35CrMoVA round rod characteristics and application scope
The hardenability and high temperature strength are better than 34CrMo steel. Water-oil quenching heat treatment can improve the impact value. The creep strength and durability strength at 550℃ both exceed 34CrMo, but after 5000h aging, the mechanical properties drop sharply. It is used for rotors, impellers, generator ring forgings and other important parts and gears working under high stress with operating temperatures below 500 to 520°C.
35CrMoVA steel round bar delivery status
Delivery status: Delivery in heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or non-heat treatment status, the delivery status should be specified in the contract.
Main characteristics: This kind of steel has high strength and good hardenability. The critical hardenable diameter in oil is 25~108mm. It has slight temper brittleness during heat treatment, but the steel has low plasticity and poor weldability during cold deformation.
