Types of flat steel
According to the forging process, flat steel can be divided into hot rolled flat steel and forged flat steel.
Hot rolled flat steel
Hot rolled flat steel is a rectangular section of potential rolled long steel for general use. Forged flat steel
Forged flat steel is a long steel sheet with a rectangular cross section made by forging. Forging unfairness can obtain forgings of certain shape and size, and can significantly improve the as-cast structure and increase the density of steel. It can change the distribution of fiber tissue, remove anisotropy, improve the mechanical properties of metal, and improve the strength and toughness of steel. And can process low plasticity of high grade steel and high alloy steel. Forged flat steel is mainly high quality alloy steel, mainly used as springs, tools and important mechanical parts. The specifications of forged flat steel are expressed in millimeters of thickness * width, and the specifications are 20mm*40mm~160mm*300mm.
