GNEE Steel has successfully completed a new export project involving 594 tons of ASTM A36 H Beams, supplying a Korean engineering company for a large-scale structural steel project.

As a new customer from South Korea, the client selected GNEE as a reliable steel supplier based on our stable supply capability, strict quality control, and extensive experience in international structural steel projects.

The order was mainly used for large-scale steel structures, requiring ASTM A36 H Beams with excellent structural stability, dimensional accuracy, and reliable welding performance.

During the procurement process, the customer focused on material consistency, production capacity, delivery schedule, and complete quality documentation to ensure the project could be completed smoothly and efficiently.

South Korea is one of Asia's important industrial and construction markets, with strict requirements for structural steel products used in industrial plants, commercial buildings, warehouses, infrastructure projects, and other engineering applications.

For this project, GNEE supplied H Beams manufactured according to ASTM A36/A36M standards, ensuring compliance with customer requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerances, and surface quality.

To guarantee product reliability, GNEE implemented strict quality control throughout the entire production process, including raw material verification, chemical composition analysis, dimensional inspection, mechanical property testing, surface inspection, and final shipment checks.

Complete quality documents, including Mill Test Certificates (MTC), mechanical test reports, and inspection records, were provided to ensure full material traceability.

After order confirmation, GNEE organized the production of A36 H Beams using high-quality carbon steel billets in accordance with ASTM A36 standards. Each H Beam underwent a strict manufacturing process, including billet heating, hot rolling, straightening, cutting, surface treatment, and final inspection to ensure stable structural performance and reliable service life.

During the hot rolling process, the steel billets were first heated to an appropriate temperature to achieve excellent plasticity, and then gradually formed into an H-shaped cross-section through multiple rolling passes.

By precisely controlling the rolling temperature, reduction ratio, and cooling process, the flange and web maintained uniform thickness distribution, accurate dimensions, and consistent mechanical properties. After rolling, each H Beam was straightened to ensure excellent flatness, straightness, and dimensional accuracy.

Throughout the manufacturing process, every A36 H Beam was strictly inspected for section dimensions, flange width, web thickness, length tolerance, straightness, and surface quality to ensure compliance with ASTM A36/A36M standards and customer specifications.

Additional surface treatments, such as shot blasting, painting, or hot-dip galvanizing, can be provided when required to improve corrosion resistance and extend service life.

Before shipment, each A36 H Beam undergoes dimensional inspection, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property testing, and visual examination. Mill Test Certificates (MTC) are provided according to EN 10204 3.1 requirements to ensure full product traceability and compliance with international quality standards.

GNEE supplies ASTM A36 H Beams with strict quality control, accurate dimensions, and customizable processing services. From standard sizes to project-specific requirements, we provide cost-effective steel solutions with full inspection reports and global delivery support. Quality Inspection of ASTM A36 H Beam

To ensure the structural performance, dimensional accuracy, and long-term reliability of ASTM A36 H Beams, GNEE provides comprehensive quality inspection services throughout the manufacturing process. Each batch of H Beams is inspected according to ASTM A36/A36M requirements and customer specifications before shipment.

Chemical Composition Analysis

Steel samples are tested to verify the content of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and other alloying elements, ensuring the material composition meets ASTM A36 requirements.

Mechanical Property Testing

Tensile tests are performed to evaluate yield strength, tensile strength, and elongation, confirming that A36 H Beams have sufficient strength and toughness for structural applications.

Dimensional Inspection

Each H Beam is measured for overall height, flange width, web thickness, flange thickness, length, and straightness to ensure compliance with ASTM dimensional tolerances.

Surface Quality Inspection

Visual inspection is conducted to identify surface defects such as cracks, scars, folding, rust, and other imperfections that may affect structural performance.

Ultrasonic Testing (Optional)

For projects with higher safety requirements, ultrasonic testing can be performed to detect internal defects such as inclusions, voids, or laminations inside the steel section.

Mill Test Certificate (MTC)

Each shipment is supplied with EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat number, and inspection results for full traceability.

Inspection results confirm that GNEE ASTM A36 H Beams achieve stable mechanical properties, accurate dimensions, and reliable structural performance, meeting the requirements of construction, bridge, industrial, and heavy-duty steel structure applications.
