       The ramp bridge project of the Island Eastern Corridor in Hong Kong uses H-beams produced by GNEE. The project adopts steel with the grade of S355J0 - Z15, covering various specifications such as：

      The maximum web height reaches 921mm, and the steel consumption is approximately 8,000 tons. These steels will be mainly applied to the bridge deck support parts, providing a solid guarantee for the stability and durability of the ramp bridge. As an important regional transportation artery, the advancement of the ramp bridge project of the Island Eastern Corridor is of great significance for optimizing the traffic layout and improving the traffic efficiency.

     S355J0 - Z15H type steel has the characteristics of high strength, yield strength of no less than 355MPa, tensile strength of 470 - 630MPa, capable of bearing large loads; good low-temperature toughness, impact energy at 0℃ ≥27J, suitable for low-temperature environments; excellent weldability, low carbon equivalent, low risk of welding cracks, compatible with various welding processes; good Z-direction performance (Z15), resistant to layer tearing, ensuring the reliability of welded structures; also has certain weather resistance and good processability, easily made into various components through rolling, cutting, etc.
