HSS Round Bar Product Introduction
M7 High Speed Tool Steel Round Bar is a reinforced tool steel containing chromium, tungsten and vanadium. It is commonly used as a cutting tool material due to its high hardness, high wear resistance and high heat resistance. M7 high speed steel is used to make heavier construction drill bits where flexibility and extended drill life are extremely important.
M7 molybdenum high speed tool steel is primarily used for cutting tools in all machining operations. This steel has good wear resistance due to its carbon and vanadium content. It is an excellent choice for quality tools that require an excellent balance of red hardness, edge toughness and wear resistance. It is particularly suitable for processing semi-hard heat-treated steels with a Brinell hardness of approximately 300-350.
