Q390C Carbon Steel H Beam

Q390C H-shaped steel   is a low - alloy high - strength structural steel named after its yield strength of 390MPa. Q390C H-shaped steel By adding trace alloying elements such as niobium, vanadium, and titanium, its mechanical properties are optimized. It has high strength, high toughness, good welding and cold - forming properties, and is suitable for engineering structures that bear high loads and complex stresses. It complies with standards such as GB/T 1591 - 2018 and is applied in many fields such as construction, bridges, machinery manufacturing, and energy.

The characteristics of Q390C H-shaped steel low - alloy high - strength structural steel are as follows:
Q390C H-shaped steel Mechanical properties:
It has high yield strength and tensile strength. When the thickness is ≤16mm, the yield strength is ≥390MPa; the tensile strength is between 490 - 650MPa (when the thickness is ≤100mm), etc. It has an excellent load - bearing capacity and can withstand high loads and complex stresses. It has good toughness, with an impact energy of not less than 34J at 0℃, which can resist impacts and vibrations and ensure the integrity and safety of the structure.

Q390C H-shaped steelProcess properties:
It has excellent welding performance, with low crack sensitivity during welding, and the mechanical properties of the welded joint are guaranteed. It can be welded by various welding methods. It has good cold - forming performance, is not easy to crack or deform during cold bending at room temperature, and is convenient for processing complex shapes.

Q390C H-shaped steel Other characteristics:
Its corrosion resistance can be improved through surface treatment (such as spraying, galvanizing); while ensuring strength, it has good economy, which is conducive to reducing project costs. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, hot and cold processing properties, and corrosion resistance, as well as good low - temperature toughness (some data mention that it can still maintain performance in a specific low - temperature environment).

Hot-rolled H-beam steel

The East Vehicle Tunnel (EVT) project of Hong Kong Airport used Q390C H-shaped steel low - alloy high - strength structural steel produced by GNEE Group during construction. In the project, Q390C H-shaped steel was used in various specifications such as:
H912×302×18×34,
H498×432×45×70,
H800×300×14×26,
H900×300×16×28, etc.

The maximum web height reached 912mm, and the maximum flange thickness was 70mm. With its high - strength and high - toughness characteristics, it undertook the important task of supporting and maintaining the excavation of a 3 - layer deep soil foundation pit. The usage was approximately 10,000 tons, providing a reliable guarantee for key links such as the deep foundation pit support construction of the tunnel.
