What kind of steel is 15CrMoR?
15CrMoR pressure vessel steel plate is a commonly used steel plate for low-temperature pressure vessels and is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, pharmaceutical and other fields. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and welding properties, it is widely used in the manufacture of various pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines and other equipment.
The chemical composition of 15CrMoR steel plate is mainly composed of iron, chromium, carbon, manganese, silicon and other elements. Among them, the chromium content is higher, which has better corrosion resistance; the carbon content is lower, ensuring good welding performance; at the same time, appropriate amounts of manganese and silicon are added to improve the strength and toughness of the steel plate.

The mechanical properties of 15CrMoR steel plate mainly include tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and impact energy. Among them, tensile strength and yield strength are important indicators to measure the mechanical properties of steel plates, while elongation and impact energy reflect the plasticity and toughness of steel plates. The tensile strength of 15CrMoR steel plate is generally above 490MPa, the yield strength is around 310MPa, the elongation is above 20%, and it has good plasticity and toughness.
