What are the differences between W14x176 structural H-beam in A36/A992 materials?
Performance of A36 h beam material
A36 structural steel h beam is an American standard carbon structural steel with C≤0.25, Si≤0.40, Mn between 0.80 - 1.20, P≤0.04, S≤0.05, Cu≥0.20. Yield strength ≥250MPa, tensile strength between 400 - 550MPa, good welding performance, forming performance, certain strength and toughness, and can meet the force requirements of general structures.
Performance of A992 h beam steel structure
A992 h section steel beam is an alloy steel specially used for structural steel with higher strength and better toughness. The yield strength is usually not less than 345MPa, and the tensile strength is about 490-620MPa. Its alloy composition has been optimized, and it performs well in welding performance and fatigue resistance, especially for occasions with high structural performance requirements.
