S355NL S355ML HEA100x96x5x8 h shaped steel
HEA100 steel is a European standard hot-rolled H-beam with dimensions of 96 mm wide and 100 mm high, 5 mm web thickness and 8 mm flange thickness. It is commonly used in building structures and other applications requiring high strength and good weldability.
S355NL and S355ML are two different quality grades of steel, both of which are low-alloy high-strength structural steels with different low-temperature impact properties.
S355NL steel h beam material: NL indicates that the material is delivered in the normalized or normalized rolled state and has good low-temperature toughness, a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa, and can maintain the specified impact energy at -50°C. Suitable for applications requiring good weldability and machinability, such as bridges, buildings, machinery manufacturing, etc.
S355ML h section steel material: ML indicates improved low-temperature toughness steel, delivered in the normalized or normalized rolled state.
Similar to S355NL, it has more stringent requirements for impact properties at low temperatures; suitable for use in extreme low temperature environments, such as infrastructure construction in the Arctic.
HEA100x96x5x8 h type beam made of S355NL or S355ML not only has excellent mechanical properties and low temperature toughness, but also has good weldability, which is convenient for connection work during on-site construction. These steels are usually produced according to EN 10034 standards and follow the quality control requirements of relevant standards such as EN 10025.
