S355J0 HEA280 HEB280 High-strength H beam
S355J0 h section beam material characteristics
Chemical composition and standards
S355J0 structural h beam is a low alloy high strength steel that complies with EN 10025 standard, with carbon equivalent ≤0.41%, carbon content ≤0.20%, and added with chromium, nickel, molybdenum and other elements to improve performance.
Yield strength ≥355MPa (thickness ≤16mm), tensile strength 470-630MPa, with both high strength and good plasticity.
Low temperature toughness
Stable toughness and impact resistance are maintained under low temperature conditions, suitable for structures in cold areas or those that need to withstand dynamic loads.
Welding and processing performance
The carbon equivalent is low, the risk of cracks during welding is small, and conventional processes can be used for stable welding.
Supports cutting, drilling, bending and other processing, with high dimensional accuracy, and adapts to complex structural requirements
