HEA260 HEB260 S355JR/S275JR H Iron Beam Steel

The difference between HEA and HEB steel sections usually lies in their cross-sectional properties. HEB260 is thicker in web and flange thickness than HEA260, and is heavier, suitable for higher strength structural applications. HEA260 is lighter and suitable for scenarios with higher economic requirements.

S355JR h beam material and S275JR h beam steel structure materials belong to the European standard EN 10025 and are commonly used for structural steel. The yield strength of S355JR is about 355 MPa, and the yield strength of S275JR is about 275 MPa.

HEA260 h section steel beams and HEB260 h shaped beams are both 260 mm in height and width, but HEB260 has thicker web and flange. HEA260 has a web thickness of 8 mm and a flange thickness of 13 mm; HEB260 has a web thickness of 11.5 mm and a flange thickness of 18 mm.
