H-shaped steel description
H-shaped steel is an economical and efficient profile with better cross-section distribution and a more reasonable strength-to-weight ratio. Its cross-sectional shape is similar to the Latin letter H. It is also called an ordinary steel beam, a wide-side (side) I-beam, or a parallel airfoil structural I-beam. The cross section of H-shaped steel generally consists of webs, flanges, waist sections, side sections, etc. Each part of the section steel is arranged at right angles. It has good bending resistance, simple construction, low cost, light structural weight and wide range of use.
Application of H-shaped steel
