Q460 high tensile steel is a kind of low-alloy high-strength steel. The Q460 brand represents: Q represents the first letter of the Chinese pinyin of the word "qu" of the steel's yield strength; 460 represents the yield strength value in MPa; Q460 high strength plate quality grade is divided into C, D, E, namely Q460C high strength sheet metal, Q460D high strength low alloy steel plate, Q460E high strength low alloy structural steel.
Q460 low alloy steel sheet will only undergo plastic deformation when the force strength of the steel reaches 460 MPa. That is, when the external force is released, the steel can only maintain the shape of the force but cannot return to its original shape. This strength is greater than that of ordinary steel.
Q460 low alloy structural steel appropriately increases the content of micro-alloying elements on the basis of ensuring low carbon equivalent.Q460 steel has higher strength and higher comprehensive mechanical properties when normalized, normalized and tempered, or quenched and tempered (both aluminum deoxidation). It is mainly used for large engineering structures and light structures that require high strength and large load.
