S235J2 is a steel grade under the European standard EN 10025. In the designation S235J2, "S" stands for structural steel, and "J2" indicates that the material has passed the -20°C impact test, with a minimum yield strength of 235 N/mm².

S235J2 steel plate is widely used in freight cars, transmission towers, dump trucks, cranes, trailers, bulldozers, excavators, forestry machinery, railway wagons, dolphins, penstocks, pipes, highway bridges, building structures, oil and gas platforms, offshore structures, shipbuilding, power plants, palm oil equipment and machinery, fans, pumps, lifting equipment, and port facilities. Its excellent mechanical properties, good weldability, and toughness enable it to withstand medium loads and impacts in complex environments.
