P20 die steel is a kind of mold welding material, the earliest is P20, consists of P20H, P20Ni phase.
P20 mould steel characteristics:
P20 die steel has the physical properties of uniform hardness, and has good polishing properties and photo-etching. P20H die steel has uniform hardness and good polishing and photo-etching properties, and P20 die steel has excellent machinability.
P20 metal mold steel is made from pure steel by vacuum degassing and refining process, which is more suitable for polishing or etching on plastic molds.
P20 mold metal has been pre-hardened to 285-330HB (30-36HRC) and can be used directly for mold processing without heat treatment, which greatly shortens the working period and saves operating costs. Good dimensional stability.
The physical properties of P20 mold steel are dense after forging and rolling. Through ultrasonic testing can be found P20H mold steel without pinhole, pinhole and other defects.
P20 die steel is suitable for making plastic molds and die casting low melting point metal mold materials.
