JIS SKH9 - Tool steel Product Introduction
SKH-9 is a high-speed tool steel, also known as ASP23, which has very high wear and corrosion resistance. This material is widely used in the manufacture of cutting tools, drill bits and dies.
The material of SKH-9 belongs to general melted high-speed tool steel, which is more cost-effective than powdered high-speed steel. It is widely used in various wear-resistant and impact-resistant cutting tools and advanced stamping dies.
SKH--9 is molybdenum series high speed steel. The carbide structure of molybdenum high speed steel is fine, neat, well distributed and uniform. Therefore, the wear resistance and toughness are relatively balanced. Especially because it only increases or decreases the carbon content, it does not damage the high-temperature characteristics and can continuously and significantly change the properties of the steel.
