ASTM A387 pressure vessel quality steel specification refers to 6 grades of alloy steel plates for high temperature applications, classified according to chromium and molybdenum content. Grade 11 steel boiler plate and grade 12 boiler steel plate have similar chemical compositions and can be used for welding pressure vessels and Industrial boilers are mainly used in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, and are generally used for the transportation of high-temperature media.
