nickel alloys Product Introduction
Alloy 80A (Nimonic® Alloy 80A) is a wrought, age-hardened nickel-chromium alloy. Alloy 80A is similar to Alloy 75, but is made precipitation hardenable by the addition of aluminum and titanium. Alloy 80A has good corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as high tensile and creep rupture properties at temperatures below 815ºC (1500ºF).
80A alloy is used in gas turbine components (blades, rings, discs), bolts, nuclear generator tube supports, internal combustion engine exhaust valves, and many other offshore/marine, automotive and electrical applications.
