S355J2 HEA120x114x5x8 HEB120x120x6.5x11 h profile steel
S355J2 h beam steel structure Material characteristics
Chemical composition: carbon (C) ≤ 0.22%, silicon (Si) ≤ 0.55%, manganese (Mn) ≤ 1.60%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.025%, sulfur (S) ≤ 0.025%; trace elements (such as copper and nickel) are added to improve corrosion resistance and low temperature toughness.
Mechanical properties
Yield strength: ≥ 355 MPa (slightly reduced with increasing thickness)
Tensile strength: 470-630 MPa
Impact toughness: -20℃ impact energy ≥ 27J (meeting the requirements of low temperature environment)
Process characteristics
Delivery status: normalized or normalized rolling (+N), optimized grain structure and mechanical properties.
Excellent welding performance, suitable for deep processing such as cutting and bending.
HEA120x114x5x8 structural h beam

Production process and standards
Implementation standards
Material standards: EN 10025-2 (S355J2).
Steel standard: EN 10034:1993 (dimensional tolerance and geometric accuracy).
Production process
Hot rolling forming: high temperature rolling process to ensure cross-sectional uniformity and dimensional accuracy.
Surface treatment: shot blasting and painting can be provided to enhance corrosion resistance.
Application areas
Construction engineering: high-rise building frames, steel structure workshops (such as HEA120 for secondary beams and HEB120 for main beams).
Bridge engineering: load-bearing structures of small and medium span bridges.
Industrial equipment: crane rails, mechanical supports.
Cryogenic environment: cryogenic containers, offshore platforms (thanks to the -20℃ impact toughness of S355J2).
