HEA160x152x6x9 S355NL hea steel beam
HEA160 steel beam is a European standard hot rolled H-beam with dimensions of 152 mm wide, 160 mm high, 6 mm web thickness and 9 mm flange thickness.
HEA160x152x6x9, when manufactured from S355NL, is suitable for a wide range of structural applications, especially where low temperature impact performance is a concern.
S355NL steel beam material properties
Chemical composition: S355NL is a low alloy high strength structural steel, the specific chemical composition of which may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but generally contains iron (Fe) as the main element, with appropriate amounts of carbon (C), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), as well as small amounts of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S) and other alloying elements such as niobium (Nb), vanadium (V) or titanium (Ti).
Mechanical properties
Yield strength (ReH): minimum 355 MPa
Tensile strength (Rm): 470-630 MPa
Elongation after fracture (A): minimum value between 20% and 22% depending on the thickness of the specimen
Impact energy (KV2): at least 27J for longitudinal specimens at -50°C
Production process: S355NL steel is delivered in the normalized or normalized rolled state, which helps to ensure good weldability and formability of the material, while also improving its low-temperature toughness.
Application of HEA160x152x6x9 h shape steel beam
Building structure: Due to its high strength and excellent low-temperature toughness, HEA160 beam h made of S355NL is widely used in structures such as multi-story buildings, industrial plants and bridges.
Mechanical engineering: It can be used to manufacture mechanical equipment frames that bear large loads, such as crane rails, heavy transportation equipment, etc.
Other fields: It is also suitable for occasions such as marine engineering and petrochemical plants that need to resist harsh environmental conditions.
