Cold drawn flat steel
The surface of cold drawn flat steel products is smooth and bright. Through a certain process, can achieve the purpose of saving steel, improve the yield strength of the product, save a lot of materials. The cold drawing process is the cold extrusion of raw materials to achieve the desired shape, specifications and tolerances. The loss of raw materials is minimal. Compared with the materials consumed by traditional lathe processing and cutting, the material saving of cold-drawn flat steel is very considerable. Yes, especially in the case of large amounts of materials, saving material costs makes more sense. At the same time, the cold-drawn square steel can greatly improve the processing efficiency, save time, and the precision of the processing machinery can ensure the surface quality of the product.
Under normal circumstances, cold-drawn steel products can be directly used according to actual requirements, such as spraying, sanding,
bending, drilling or direct plating after fine drawing, which saves a lot of processing time and saves the cost of configuring processing machinery. Cold-drawn square steel can be used in different fields, such as a variety of machinery and equipment: woodworking machinery, ceramic machinery, paper machinery, glass machinery, food machinery, construction machinery, plastic machinery, textile machinery, jack, hydraulic press, etc. It can also be used for motor shaft, fan shaft, sewing machine shaft and other electrical parts.

In addition, for some furniture products, especially metal furniture, cold drawn flat steel will also be used. Cold drawing steel processing: the first cold drawing effect, take a steel bar, apply stress to it after cold drawing, the steel bar will be deformed. With the increase of tensile stress, the tensile stress inside the steel bar gradually increases. When the tensile stress generated inside the steel bar exceeds the yield point A of the steel bar and reaches C, the cold drawing is stopped and the load is lifted. Then a second cold drawing is performed.
After re-applying the stress, the steel bar can be damaged by tension, and the stress-strain diagram has a new change, and the new yield point is obviously higher than the original yield point. This change indicates that the plasticity of the steel bar has changed, the plasticity has become smaller, the hardness has increased, and the strength of the steel bar has increased. This phenomenon is called "deformation hardening". Cold-drawn square steel is made of cold-drawn steel (bar) processed by the above two processes.
