09CuPTiRE-B steel plate is an alloy weathering steel containing copper (Cu 0.20–0.50%), chromium (Cr 0.25–0.50%), and nickel (Ni ≤0.30%).
Through the addition of phosphorus (P 0.07–0.15%), this steel plate not only forms a stable, dense protective rust layer in atmospheric and flue gas environments but also enhances surface texture, combining corrosion resistance with aesthetic appeal.
Its yield strength is no less than 345 MPa, tensile strength ranges from 470–630 MPa, and elongation is typically no less than 20%.
Compared to ordinary carbon steel, 09CuPTiRE-B offers 2–8 times longer atmospheric corrosion resistance and extends service life by 15–30 years in acidic flue gas environments.
09CuPTiRE-B steel plates are widely used in vehicle manufacturing (railway carriages, freight car frames), bridge engineering, transmission towers, pressure vessels and storage tanks, as well as chimneys and boiler shells.
They are particularly suitable for projects requiring long-term resistance to flue gas corrosion while maintaining aesthetic design.
