Q390E has a yield strength of ≥390MPa and a tensile strength ranging from 520-680MPa. By adding microalloying elements such as Nb, V, and Ti to refine grains, and controlling carbon content (usually ≤0.20%), it achieves a balance between high strength and good toughness. In particular, the "E" grade requires an impact absorption energy of ≥27J at -40℃, ensuring better toughness stability at low temperatures compared to ordinary grades (e.g., Q390A/B/C/D), thus reducing the risk of brittle fracture in cold conditions.

Minimal performance fluctuation
Through strict rolling processes (e.g., controlled rolling and cooling) and composition control during production, the batch-to-batch fluctuation of its mechanical properties (strength, impact toughness, elongation) is small, meeting the requirements for material performance consistency in structural design.
