AH36/EH36 is a shipbuilding steel plate certified by classification societies and is implemented in accordance with the standards of nine classification societies. The impact temperature of EH36 steel plate is -40 degrees. The same DH36, EH36, and FH36 steel plates are all high-strength ship plates. The China Classification Society grades are divided into four grades: A, B, D, and E. Due to the stricter requirements for shipbuilding plates, alloy elements such as Nb, V, and Ti are added to the steel and combined with the production process of the steel plate to improve the toughness of the steel while ensuring the mechanical properties of the high-strength ship plate.

AH36/EH36 adopts electric furnace steelmaking, which is made of scrap iron. The steel is pure. The steel plate is a flat steel material made by pouring molten steel and pressing it after cooling. It is flat and rectangular, and can be directly rolled or cut from wide steel strips. The steel plate is divided into thin steel plate <8 mm (the thinnest is 0.2 mm), medium and thick steel plate 8~60 mm, and extra thick steel plate 60~120 mm according to thickness.
