RINA There are 4 grades of normal strength steel for shipbuilding, grade A being the lowest. RINA Grade A steel plate has a yield strength of 34,100 psi (235 MPa) and an ultimate tensile strength of 58,000 - 75,500 psi (400-520 MPa).
Main use: Mainly used for structural applications on barges, ships, small vessels, support structures and various equipment in the maritime and shipping industry, with RINA (Registrar Italiana) certificate.
