Molybdenum Round Bar Product Introduction
Molybdenum rods are composed of different grades of molybdenum. The material has some unique physical and mechanical properties that make it suitable for some unique applications.
Molybdenum ASTM B387 type 361 is a commercial pure grade containing 99.9% molybdenum. There are also trace amounts of potassium, aluminum, silicon, iron, nickel, copper, chromium, sodium and tungsten to enhance the metal's texture. The melting point of this grade is 2610 degrees Celsius.
The 364/365 grade round rod is another special grade of molybdenum rod. These bars have a minimum tensile strength of 580MPa and a minimum yield strength of 350MPa.
