However, you will get to know that there are many difference between ASTM A36 steel plate and Q235B steel plate also if you check carefully the technical data comparison between Q235B and A36 as below :

The minimum yield point of ASTM A36 Steel plate is 250 MPa, tensile strength is 400MPa-550MPa. While the minimum yield point of ASTM A36 Steel plate equivalent grade Q235B is 235MPa, tensile strength is 375MPa-460Mpa. That means some Q235B will not meet A36 requirements.
