S235 S275JR Structural Steel Beams
Steel grade S235 contains 2-3% manganese, 0.1% carbon and 1.5% copper. These components give S235 grade steel excellent strong plasticity. At the same time, this steel also contains trace amounts of P and S, which is very helpful in improving its processing performance and weldability. S235 steel is mainly composed of Mn, which has a certain improvement effect on its mechanical properties.
S275JR grade steel is an easily weldable low carbon manganese steel with good impact resistance. This material is usually supplied in an untreated or normalized state. The machinability of this material is similar to that of mild steel.
