Steel H Beam With ASTM Standard
American standard H-shaped steel implementation standard: ASTM standard. American standard H section steel has three main quality grades: A36, A572, A992, etc. For example: A36 material and A572 material represent carbon structural steel, and A992 is low alloy steel. American standard H profile steel is made by cutting strip steel with appropriate thickness into appropriate width, and welding the flange and web together on a continuous welding unit. Welding structural steel beams has the disadvantages of high metal consumption, difficulty in ensuring uniform product performance, and limited size specifications. Therefore, H-shaped steel is mainly produced by rolling method.
An economical cross-section profile with a cross-sectional shape similar to the capital Latin letter H, also called universal steel beam, wide-edge (side) I-beam, or parallel-flange I-beam.Usually H-Beam are used as the main structure of building, like for example, things such as poles, beam for residential buildings, or even component such as trusses, and cantilevers.
