ASTM A514 is a high-strength weldable steel that has been quenched and tempered according to ASTM specifications. It is mainly used in places that require high tensile strength and high compliance, as well as in engineering car lifting gears and marine channel racks.
There are eight different levels of products under the ASTM A514 standard: A514 GrA, A514 GrB, A514 GrE, A514 GrF, A514 GrH, A514 GrP, A514 GrQ, and A514 Gr S. The thickness, chemical composition, and properties of A514 steel plates of different grades vary.
A710 is a high-strength low alloy steel plate widely used in engineering structures, such as building steel structures, construction machinery, mining machinery, heavy-duty trucks, bridges, pressure vessels, etc., especially for building and engineering machinery components that require good weldability and toughness.
