ASTM-A36 is an American standard steel plate A36, which is an American standard carbon structural steel. A36 steel plates are produced in accordance with ASME standards, and this standard is applicable to riveting, bolted connection, and welded structures used in bridges and buildings, as well as carbon steel sections, plates, and bars of general structural steel quality. A36 steel plate yields around 240MP and its yield value decreases with the increase of material thickness.
