A572 A633 H Profile Steel
ASTM A633 is a standard specification for high-strength, low-alloy structural steels requiring excellent notch toughness under low temperature conditions. Level C can achieve a thickness of 4 inches, and level E can achieve a thickness of 6 inches.
ASTM 572 is a standard specification for high-strength, low-alloyed Nb-VV-5 structural steel used in general building and structural engineering. ASTM A572 consists of 5 grades specifying minimum yield strengths of 42, 50, 55, 60 and 65 ksi.

Characteristics of A572 H-beam:
◆ It has wide flange and high lateral stiffness. It has high bending resistance, about 5-10% than I-beam.
◆It has low cost, high precision and low residual stress compared with welded I-beam. There is no need for expensive welding materials and weld testing, saving about 30% of steel structure fabrication cost.
◆ Under the same sectional load, hot rolled H-steel structure is 15-20% lighter than traditional steel structure.
◆ Compared with concrete structure, hot rolled H-steel structure can increase the use area by 6%, while the structural self-weight is reduced by 20% to 30%, reducing the structural design internal force.
◆ The two surfaces of its flange are parallel to each other, which makes the connection, processing and installation easy.
◆A572 H-beam can be processed into T-beam, and honeycomb beam can be combined to form various cross-section forms, which greatly meets the requirements of engineering design and production.
