SPA-C corten steel sheet metal is a type of weather-resistant steel sheet. Corten steel, also known as corten steel, is a type of alloy steel that develops a protective rust appearance when exposed to the outside environment. SPA-C corten steel sheet is a specific grade of weathering steel that complies with Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) G 3125.
The "SPA" in SPA-C corten sheet stands for "atmospheric corrosion-resistant steel", indicating its ability to withstand atmospheric corrosion. C " refers to the chemical composition of the steel, which contains copper, chromium and nickel elements that enhance its corrosion resistance.
