Two types of Q355 stainless steel channels:
Depending on the application and industry, there are two types of channel available: u-channel and c-channel. Although there is no specific terminology, the parts of stainless steel channel steel are generally referred to as "channel body" and "channel legs". Longer bodies and shorter legs are referred to as "C" channel steel, while shorter bodies and longer legs are referred to as "U" channel steel.
C-Channel:
The C-channel has shorter legs and an overall thinner body. This gives it a "c" shape, which is where it gets its name. Stainless C-Channel can withstand corrosive environments and is best suited for use in chemical, acid and salt water environments. We offer laser melted non-tapered or hot rolled tapered C-Channel.
U-Channel
U-Channel is like a square. The best way to produce it is to make all the parts symmetrical. u-channel is very durable and reliable.
