Q355 Q235 Channel Steel
Q355 is a new type of steel newly developed in China, mainly used to replace Q345. Its material density is 7.85g/cm3, and it has 3 quality levels: Q355B, Q355C, Q355D. It has excellent mechanical properties and good hot and cold machinability. The results show that its mechanical properties are better than A36 ASTM steel.
Q235 steel is produced according to Chinese specifications. Carbon steel, such as marine steel and bridge steel, is generally represented by carbon structural steel. However, letters indicating intent and purpose appear behind the steel.

Q355 Q235 Channel Steel is required to have good welding, riveting and comprehensive mechanical properties in use. The raw material billet for producing channel steel shall be carbon-bonded steel or low-alloy steel billet with carbon content not exceeding 0.25%. The finished Q235, Q355 channel beam shall be delivered in hot-formed, normalized or hot-rolled condition.
