S235JRG1 indicates that the yield point of the steel bar is 235N/MM2, and A indicates the temperature of the weather resistance.
S235JRG2: ordinary carbon steel. The carbon content is 0.06-0.22%, with less than 0.25% being the most commonly used.
The characteristics are different:
S235JRG1: Tensile strength (σb/MPa): 375-500. The quenching temperature is 950 ℃, the salt bath furnace is heated, and the 10% NaCl brine is cooled and quenched.
S235JRG2: It belongs to low carbon steel, and each metal grade represents the lowest yield point of the steel when the thickness is less than 16mm.
Different uses:
S235JRG1: It can be used for various abrasive tool handles and other unimportant abrasive tool parts.
S235JRG2 is carbon structural steel used to make engineering structural parts. It is generally used in the state of supply, and the content of sulfur and phosphorus in steel is relatively high, which are allowed to reach 0.050% and 0.045% respectively.
