321H stainless steel channel steel
321H stainless steel is a widely used stainless steel where parts are heated and exposed to corrosive atmospheres within the carbide precipitation temperature range (800°F-1500°F). 321 stainless steel is similar to 304 stainless steel but has a higher nickel content and is stabilized with titanium. Titanium reacts preferentially with the carbon in the steel and prevents the precipitation of chromium carbides at the grain boundaries, thereby maintaining corrosion resistance by preventing the depletion of chromium near the grain boundaries when exposed to critical temperature ranges. This grade responds well to cold work hardening. Has good welding characteristics; and usually does not require post-weld annealing to restore its excellent performance under various corrosive conditions.
