Among them, Q represents the steel yield strength "Qu" Chinese phonetic alphabet first letter; 390 is yield strength value, unit MPa; C is quality grade, which is classified into grades B/C/ D/E.

Products Application
When needs the thickness direction property of the GB/T 1591 Q390C hot rolled high strength steel plates, the symbol of the performance level representing the thickness direction (Z direction) is added after the Q390C grade.
