q355 steel angle iron Products Description
Q355 angle steel can be surface painted or galvanised. Galvanised angle is a Q355 hot rolled mild steel angle treated with a zinc rich hot dip plating process. Galvanised Q355 angle is a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel, providing up to 30 years of rust-free protection while maintaining considerable strength through a durable hard surface coating.
Galvanised angles can be cut, machined or welded in the same way as common steel, but should be adequately ventilated to avoid inhalation of fumes from heating. The sawn ends of our pre-cut angles are not galvanised and should be treated with a cold galvanising compound to keep them protected once the project is complete. This is ideal for applications such as marine or coastal environments where superior weather protection is required.
